This white wine glass is part of the Inku Glassware collection by Sergio Herman. The top chef skilfully infused the essence of Japanese sophistication and imperfect perfection into the Inku tableware. The collection holds clear references to shell shapes, blossoms and the abstract structures of nature.

“With Inku tableware, we don’t only decorate the plate nicely but complete tables with blossoms in ceramics,” says Herman, who uses the tableware in Le Pristine Brasserie in Antwerp. “I not only see it as our job to inspire people culinarily but want to do that just as much with table decorating.”

About the Designer

The Sergio Herman collections for Serax draw on the diverse local and international influences that have shaped his career as a world-class chef, restaurateur and designer of spaces and objects. Herman is deeply connected to the province of Zeeland, where he began his career at the family-owned restaurant Oud Sluis in Sluis – a small town near the Belgian-Dutch border – transforming it into a culinary destination. Under his creative direction, Oud Sluis achieved three Michelin stars and was named one of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants for eight years.
