This Friday the renowned Danish design house HAY will release the Six-Colour bag. These four new colourful versions of The New Shopping Bag will be available in HAY stores all over the world, from Tokyo to Oslo, from Sidney to Rotterdam.
The collaboration with our friend and inspiring artist Bertjan Pot, follows the super colourful collection we did together in 2017. HAY was founded in 2002 and has since become a champion in making quality design accessible and affordable. They have since collaborated with some of the most amazing designers out there, like Nathalie du Pasquier, Scholten & Baijings, and Lex Pott. No wonder that we are super proud of being part of this team.
Bertjan Pot is a Rotterdam designer known for his ‘Random Light’ and colourful masks as well as for his work for brands such as Arco, Moooi, Nike, Cassina, HAY and Comme des Garçons. We are great admirers of the ingenious intuitiveness that characterizes his work, which is rich with fun, fantasy, and inventivity. It’s remarkable how his designs have underlined the colourfulness of SUSAN BIJL.
