Oh, what a joy! The annual International Film Festival Rotterdam is upon us. From January 24th till February 4th Rotterdam will be the worldwide center in the best of contemporary cinema. Film fanatics from all over the world will give Rotterdam this special colourful vibe that’s unique for the IFFR, as the city will be hustling and bustling with lots of festival related activities. Following the massive succes of our collaboration with IFFR last year, we have teamed up again for 3 special IFFR designs.
Every year IFFR collaborates with a design studio to create a unique item for the festival crowd. For the first time IFFR has joined forces with our neighbor, friend and sock designer extraordinaire Alfredo Gonzales to bring you the official IFFR 2018 socks. Such a treat!
But that’s not all. Last years IFFR x SUSAN BIJL bags were so popular that the demand massively exceeded the supply, selling them out in absolutely no time. So for all of you who missed out last year, we will offer three new very colourful versions of The New Shopping Bag, matching the singular IFFR iconography with the archetypal SUSAN BIJL design.
The bags will be for sale during the festival at the festival shop in de Doelen and in the SUSAN BIJL store. Sale starts Thursday January 25th. Doelen shop opens at 9 am, SUSAN BIJL store opens at 10 am. But first, we will dive deep into the programme and select a good amount of films to immerse ourselves in, because that’s the ultimate IFFR experience. See you next week!
