“Two circles and a tube: that’s all there is to it." For the round table S, Muller Van Severen designed a basic object that excels in details and finishing. There are no visible traces of welding, and the tabletop is made of solid aluminium, adding robustness to the piece of furniture. In contrast to the minimalist form, the tabletop is lacquered with a hammered finish. The hammerpaint coating gives the tabletop a textured finish.

It was in early spring 2011 that Muller Van Severen was born, a creative collaboration that gave rise to a furniture collection by the Belgian duo that is Fien Muller and Hannes van Severen. Since then, Fien and Hannes, both artists, have designed a complete furniture family. Their creations are globally identified in both private homes and public spaces.
