Due to its unique shape, the Aalto Table half-round is a great solution for several applications. When used individually, the half-round Aalto tables work well as console tables in hallways or as additional surface areas in compact kitchens. Two half-round tables can form a large, round table ideal for dining. Its dimensions are a perfect match for other Aalto table formats allowing for larger surfaces and various configurations.

About Artek

Recognised today as one of the great masters of modern architecture and one of the co-founders of Artek, Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) was born in Kuortane, Finland. Aalto designed buildings for almost all key public institutions, standardised housing and private homes. Aalto began designing furnishings as a natural extension of his architectural thinking. His first modern piece of furniture was created in 1931-32 for the tuberculosis sanatorium in Paimio, Finland. Artek was set up in 1935 to market and sell his and his wife Aino’s furniture, lighting, and textiles, particularly on international markets.
