About the collection

Reverb on a recording creates a feeling of space. Soundwaves bounce off surfaces and create reflections, generating a sound that reaches us a few milliseconds after the initial acoustic. It produces a sense of spaciousness, volume and body. 

Our bags are also based on the principle of space and volume—minimalistic designs that are voluminous when in use, expanding the contents beyond initial expectations. For this collection, we experimented with a new technique to increase the dimensions of our fabric differently. 

Introducing: The New Kumihimo Strap

Kumihimo is a traditional Japanese art form of handcrafted cords, typically silk. We used this craft as a starting point to transform our signature fabric into a 3D product. The result is a rope made with 12 strips of 70D fabric, creating a beautifully complex pattern. The colourful ropes offer a striking contrast against a muted collection of bags. 

The rope is available as The New Kumihimo Strap & The New Kumihimo Keychain. Pair it with a pouch, bum bag, shopping bag, phone case, or anything else. You can tailor the length with a knot of your choice.
