We moved SUSAN BIJL Store & Office!

We are slowly getting used to our new location at Avenue Concordia 30 in Kralingen, a stone's throw away from our previous office and store at Oostzeedijk. We're still arranging inventory, moving around shelving units and painting walls here and there. It will keep us busy for the coming weeks, and maybe months. The store has been open for two weeks now and we've already seen new customers coming in, as well as old acquaintances. Most visitors are positively surprised by the space, the light and the general atmosphere of the location.

Besides SUSAN BIJL bags, accessories and rainwear, we also have magazines and books on display. We offer bedding and sleepwear from our personal favourite Tekla. Artek furniture, like the classic stool, coffee table, side table and more. A small selection of Alessi items — mainly the coffee makers, because we just love those. Fragrances by Abel. Handcare and furniture items from FRAMA. And of course the work of our favourite designers from Belgium, Muller Van Severen, is on display and for sale.

Feel welcome to drop by and browse the store. We'll be happy to tell you more about the brands we carry. As you might notice, our office and design team are also operating from this location. And as of this week, we have outsourced our warehouse. It's a big step, as we have been picking all of our web orders ourselves since the early beginning of our brand (more than 25 years now!). But it is a good step. It gives us the headspace to focus on our brand, designs and creative processes. And we'll leave the order picking to the professionals. More about that later.
