POP-UP ZER0 style department_ Osaka

We are thrilled to invite you to the opening of our Pop-Up at style department_ Osaka.
We will launch two new collections, ZER0 and our Rainwear collection.

style department_ Osaka
After last year’s successful pop-up at style deparmtent_ Osaka we’re happy to be back at one of our favourite shops in Japan and to work with this great team again. Style deparmtent_ Osaka is a wonderful gem located in the Kita district. Offering brands such as Kontor, Still by Hand, You must Create, CASEY/CASEY and more. This pop-up is part of our November / December 2025 style department_ pop-up tour, starting at Osaka and via Matsue, ending in Tokyo in early December.

After 25 years of combining colours, we return to zero. A collection in shades of white, featuring every design we've made. ZER0: a minimal colour palette and a referral to the 00s, the year 2000 when Susan made her very first bag. In the ZER0 collection, we conclude 25 years of colour, and celebrate the blank canvas filled with possibility.

Shades of white
For ZER0 we chose a shade that reminds us of an empty sketch book page, representing a new beginning. It’s softer than pure white and more forgiving. The bags’ off-white tone, with greenish undertones, interacts beautifully with its surroundings. White, after all, contains all colours: a union of everything we have explored in 25 years of colour.

Collection triptych
This anniversary year comes to a close with the final collection in a series of three. We began this year with a collection celebrating the Flash: the upward stripe that adds a contrasting colour to our designs. Our signature lies in two-coloured bags; it's what you recognise us by on the streets. 

For our autumn collection, Form 25, we explored new ways of working with colour, where The Flash no longer defined the division. The monochrome bag took centre stage, highlighting its contours, with the Flash visible only in its construction. 

ZER0 takes the next step, removing (almost) all colour and contrast to reveal the frameworks beneath as perfectly captured in the campaign photos by Scheltens & Abbenes. All our core bag designs and rainwear are presented in this collection, closing this year with a symbolic fresh start: a clean slate, a blank canvas filled with possibility.

About Rainwear

SUSAN BIJL rainwear offers a range of apparel that will protect you from the rain. We improved the design of The New Raincoat and added two new designs: an anorak and rain pants. When combined, these two pieces create a set. This collection will offer four colours, allowing you to mix and match or opt for a monochromatic look. All items will be available in Small and Medium.

The New Rain Jacket

An unisex anorak with a minimal and adjustable silhouette. This short, waterproof jacket delivers mobility in wet weather—the pullover design features a large front pocket and a high collar that zips over the chin. 

The New Rain Pants

Lightweight, unisex trousers with a relaxed fit and slip-in side pockets. Designed for both comfort and style, these waterproof pants feature adjustable cuffs to create a desired fit. They can be layered over other pants or worn on their own, making them ideal for a dynamic, on-the-go lifestyle.
